1940 Packard Six Club Coupe
Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1940 Packard Six Club Coupe. Also known as the one-ten, this Packard was restored about 10 years ago to a good driver standard and is finished in Loyola Maroon. Very solid underneath with no known rust. The build quality and driving dynamics of a pre-war Packard were second-to-none and this is a considerably better appointed and more comfortable car than a Ford or Chevy from the same era.
Seat upholstery, door panels and headliner are in good condition; there is minor wear on the original steering wheel. This Packard has been retrofitted with electric air conditioning (you read that right -- instead of an engine-driven a/c compressor, there is a 12 volt electric compressor in a box in the trunk). A 12-volt electrical system with alternator and dual battery setup ensure adequate charging capacity.
Under the hood is a very smooth 245 cubic inch (4.0 liter) flathead straight six mated to a three-speed manual transmission with overdrive. It starts easily and runs and drives well. For more information about this 1940 Packard Six Coupe for sale a Motorcar Studio, please call 912-235-0435.
